I am late with a post but here I am giving you an update. I am so sorry for this delay. Not like me to skip a month and I will try not to repeat this blunder.
I am currently working on several writing projects. I try to balance my day between work, family and play time. Doesn't always work out that way but once on task I give it 100%. My 11th Abby Lynn book has started, and I have no idea thus far where it will end or if it will end the series. I don't want the story to end but maybe. So stay tuned for this yet to determined decision. Family life is busy with two more grandkids on the way and arriving soon. I can't believe how big my family has become. I am a very lucky Nana. Balancing family with everything else is difficult especially in winter. I do my best always. My personal life is another story, and I will not bore you by mentioning it, I am at a stalemate that's really all I can say. Nothing exciting unfortunately lol! I hope all of my fans are doing well staying healthy and reading my books. Until next time...... Lynda As the year ends, I must comment that 2023 was a year of challenges and a year of great rewards.
I finished book ten, started book eleven, and started a standalone novel. I wanted so badly to start the poetry book, but it must wait until my special friend is here with me to help me decide which poems to add. During all of 2023 I have volunteered with the American Red Cross, it has been and will continue to be a very rewarding effort. I am honored to be on the Service to the Armed Forces team, the Blood Donor Ambassador team, and now the Communications team as a writer. I wish every one of my fans a happy new year and a healthy, fun 2024. Lynda Happy Thanksgiving, I cannot believe the holidays have arrived. Am I ready for the "season" heck, no?
But I am making notes, and notes, and more notes. Index cards and sticky notes are everywhere. Examples are: Gift suggestions Restaurant reservations Update my website (crossed off lol) Cookie recipes for this holiday Grocery list for cookie-making Finish at least one chapter in my book a day Decide which poems go into the book (OMG!) Christmas cards completed (shorter every year) So, this list is the short version ha-ha. I love to plan luncheons during the holidays with friends I don't see often throughout the year. And happy hours are so much fun. I try to meet friends at least once a week at our favorite pub. I am hoping for an extended much-needed vacation in 2024 with my special friend. Will it happen? I sure hope it does or it is possible to be not so special anymore. Have a happy blessed Thanksgiving. Lynn aka Lynda Sunday
A catch-up day for me, updating my website and writing a blob post. Reading, writing, making appointments for vaccines needed. So, a busy day. I love the fall season, chilly weather, leaves changing into colorful paintings. The only missing item is my favorite person who isn't here, he's still serving our country and hopefully soon will retire. I am working a few hours a week, along with my writing and my volunteer service with the American Red Cross. Happy fall fans, enjoy the season. Lynn Is it possible to continue a path that is not a straight path but a path leading to an unknown destination?
Yes, I believe at times we all follow our hearts to an unknown destination on a path that may or may not be what's best for us. But not trying to get to the end is not me. I will wait for him. Every week for fifty-two weeks I have written this person an email, filled with life's bantering gibberish. The recipient of the emails is a special person, a person of great courage, and a true hero. If writing makes his life a more joyful adventure, then so be it. The summer is almost over, and fall is upon us soon. My favorite time of the year. Everything around me changes, the weather, nature, and even people. But nonetheless, I look forward to it. I am at the beginning of the poetry book, harder than I thought needing to choose the poems to put into it, umm this will take some time. So many to choose from. But eventually, I will make the decisions and move forward. Abby Lynn's novella Ten is finished and the eBook is published, and I am about ready to start book eleven. Should I let the series end? Can I let the series end is more important, I think. Time will tell if I end it soon or keep going. Have a beautiful fall season. Lynn July is hot, hot, hot, and in more ways than one!
I visited the beautiful State of West Virginia on the fourth of July. It is such a beautiful and mountainous state. I visited my two cousins, one from my mother's side and one from my yet-to-be-determined father's side. I love both and they are about the same age, with me the older of this threesome. I was there mainly for DNA possibilities and research to narrow down my biological father. Still no success! I am having a very busy summer, working at our Title Company part-time and writing of course, and my volunteer work with the Red Cross. I am on 3 teams at RC one is as an ambassador for the blood drives, one is with the SAF Service to the Armed Forces team and when needed I am on the Events team for special events in my area. And of course, I am spending as much time as possible with these little grandkids, swimming, doing crafts, etc. I am happy to announce that the 10th book in the Abby Lynn series is complete and the eBook is available on Amazon. The paperback is almost finished and should be on the site this week. Lynn Time GOES by SLOWLY when one is waiting for something special to happen. Why is that? umm, I wish i knew.
SPRING HAS ARRIVED LIKE A LION FOR SURE.
I AM VERY BUSY FINISHING THE FINAL EDIT OF NOVELLA 10, NO SECOND CHANCES, ABBY HAS BEEN BUSY CREATING DRAMA IN HER LOVE LIFE. SURPRISE? NO WAY, SHE IS A BAD GIRL.
